Initial consultation
Most projects begin with the design and at Kitchens by Design we offer this service at the highest level. We will make an appointment to visit your home where we will discuss in great detail your dreams and wishes for your new kitchen. We will take notes of all aspects including appliances and styles of cabinetry while sharing any ideas we may have at this point with you including wall removal to create an extension to the existing kitchen space if required, as well as taking detailed measurements of the area.
Design presentation
In the showroom we will present our initial proposal for your new kitchen with drawings and a provisional quotation. We will explain our thinking behind our design and present our ideas and recommendations. After this meeting we will make any amendments required. At this point, if you would like us to provide a quotation for the renovation work required to complete the kitchen project, we would make an appointment to re-visit your home to inspect and make notes related to the completion of the kitchen renovation.
Renovation presentation
In the showroom we will present the renovation proposal, explaining in detail all work to be carried out and materials to be used. You will now have the costing for the complete project.
Placing the order
Your contract, final drawings and fixed quotation for your project are issued together. We will carefully go over all the details and ask you to confirm the order by signing the contract and to make the initial payment of 25% of the total kitchen cost. We will discuss a proposed timetable to coordinate the project from start to finish.
